The contest kicks off at the beginning of the month and runs for two weeks (14 days). After the contest deadline, the jury will take a few days to select their Top 10 favorites. To stay in the loop, continue to check this page, which will be updated with contest news. All the info will be at the top of the page.
Since there are thousands of design submissions, we’ve got an expert jury to make a preselection of ten designs for each of Spreadshirt’s platforms (.net and .com). This means that there will be two Top 10 lists – one for each platform! Only one of your designs will be able to make the Top 10 of our preselection.
The jury assesses the designs according to these criteria:
The jury awards points on a scale from 0 to 3 for each criterion. This means a design receives a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 12 points from each jury member. The total points a design gets awarded are based on what the three jury members score for all four criteria. A design can receive between 0 and 36 points in total.
There is an independent vote for each of the two platforms (.net und .com). The jury selects the Top 10 designs and the winners are chosen through a public poll carried out on Spreadshirt’s Facebook pages. A link to the public poll can be found on this page. We will send an email to the designers who make the Top 10 to notify them. Whoever gets the most votes wins. To sum it up: if you make the Top 10, be sure to rally your supporters. Your family and friends can vote for your design!
The public vote will decide on the three winning designs from the Top 10. First place wins $500, second place $250 and third place $100. The winners will be notified via email. Furthermore, the winning designs will be featured by Spreadshirt.
